CASA HOGAR JUAN PABLO II ORPHANAGE: One of the beautiful missions of our Diocese is our orphanage in Lurin, Peru. Casa Hogar Juan Pablo II was founded by Fr. Joe (Jose) Walijewski in 1986 (Bishop Callahan opened Fr. Walijewski’s cause for canonization earlier this year). I had the privilege of visiting our orphanage this summer with a group of young people from throughout our Diocese.
